Earth is a blue planet in the Milky Way Galaxy primarily inhabited by humans, although it is also home to the Nartec, Yeerks, Taxxon and Hork-Bajir. At the end of the Andalite-Yeerk War, it also served as a vacation destination for Andalites, some of whom resided on Earth.

Dark Timeline
In this timeline, the Yeerk Empire began a secret invasion of Earth in the 1990s,[2] basing their invasion out of a city in California.[3] In the aftermath of the capture and infestation of the Animorphs, the Yeerk Empire switched to open warfare on the planet. Following their successful takeover of Earth, humanity's population had declined; in addition, the skies of Earth turned yellow and the trees began to die, along with the air quality also being affected.[2]
