The housefly (commonly referred to as fly) is an insect native to Earth and an aerial bug morph often used by all six core members of the Animorphs.
Acquiring
In The Capture, set in 1997, Jake, Rachel, Cassie, Marco, and Ax acquired houseflies in order to infiltrate a Yeerk-run hospital.[1] Months later in The Warning, Tobias acquired a housefly morph as well.[2]
Usage

You can fly straight ahead, or you can suddenly shoot straight up, or you can stop and just hover. There is absolutely nothing those fly wings won't do. The housefly is one of the most used bug morphs employed by the Animorphs. It is mainly used for escaping undetected or for infiltration and reconnaissance purposes, and is a versatile morph due to its ability to fly in any direction. The Animorphs (minus Tobias) first used the housefly morph in order to infiltrate the Berman Clinic, a hospital run by the Yeerk Empire.[1]
