- "How do you define happiness? Having friends like these. Friends who have stuck with me in this fight. We're together and I wouldn't have it any other way."
- ―Jake[src]
Not My Problem is the seventeenth episode of the first season of the Animorphs. It originally aired on January 24, 1999. It was directed by Stacy Curtis and written by George Melrod.
Synopsis
The weight of battling the Yeerk invasion is wearing on Jake and after a bad day, he wishes he'd never met Elfangor at all. But be careful what you wish for, it might come true. After a taste of "what if" from the Ellimist, Jake realizes that as hard as the fight is, it must go on.
Plot
When Jake succumbs to the pressures of being the Animorphs' leader, the Ellimist appears and grants him the wish to be normal. However, in the alternate reality, only Tobias is left to fight while his friends become infested by the Yeerks and he must carefully plot his next move to avoid the same fate.

Trivia
- This episode is one of the few episodes not to based on any preexisting book material. While the plot does share some similarities with Megamorphs #4: Back to Before, that book was not released until in April 2000 while this episode premiered over a year earlier in January 1999 meaning that any similarities are likely coincidental.
- In the club scene, the song used is "For You" by Adam Hamilton.
- The name of the high school is confirmed as Brockwood High School.
- This episode marks the final appearances of Greg and the Ellimist.
